Based on recent records from the observation point, the number of rifts that are simultaneously blocked and shifted determines the size of the rift we redirect to the single point in the cave’s southwest corner.
In other words: the more area we cover with deflectors and Rift Guards, the larger the cumulative shifted rift becomes - I call this the Grand Rift.
