This document constitutes a faithful and binding record of the trade agreement entered into by the Svanmarck Estate and House Goldfinch, under the eye of the Crown of Undland and with the assent of its appointed Arbiter, to govern matters of passage, access, and non-interference between the two houses.
House Svanmarck affirms its sole authority over the construction, maintenance, and operation of roads, canals, and other regional infrastructure within Goldfinch lands and holdings.
House Goldfinch is granted permanent and preferential access to all Svanmarck-maintained infrastructure required for the transport of goods, materials, and persons between Goldfinch holdings and points of trade.
House Goldfinch and its interests shall not need to pay tolls on roads on its own territory. Access to Svanmarck infrastructure shall not otherwise be withheld, restricted, or made conditional beyond maintenance fees as fixed at the time of signing, except by direct sanction of the Crown of Undland.
House Svanmarck shall ensure reasonable maintenance and timely repair of said infrastructure where it services Goldfinch routes, and shall not delay or neglect such maintenance for the purpose of leverage, pressure, or advantage.
House Svanmarck affirms non-interference in the internal operations, extraction, and trade practices of House Goldfinch, and shall not employ its control of infrastructure to influence, hinder, or extract additional concessions from Goldfinch interests.
House Goldfinch recognizes the Svanmarck Estate as the sole authority over regional infrastructure, and agrees not to construct or commission competing roads, canals, or transit works within Goldfinch territory.
This agreement is witnessed and sealed under authority of the Crown of Undland, signed threefold by representatives of their respective noble houses.
